2024 PhotoVoice

In 2024, youth from across Saskatchewan came together to participate in SCIC’s PhotoVoice Program, using photography as a tool to tell meaningful stories connected to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Together, participants chose to focus their work on six goals:

  • SDG 1: No Poverty

  • SDG 4: Quality Education

  • SDG 5: Gender Equality

  • SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities

  • SDG 13: Climate Action

  • SDG 15: Life on Land

Stories have the power to connect people, bridge experiences, and shape how we understand the world. Through their images, ideas, and unique perspectives, participants explored these global challenges and brought attention to the ways they impact communities here in Saskatchewan and around the world.

The result is a powerful collection of photographs that reflects the creativity, passion, and insight of young people using visual storytelling to advocate for a more just, sustainable future.
