About the event

Experience the art of needle felting on blankets—a soft, repetitive, and soothing process. To craft our 'wool painting' or story, we use unspun wool and a barbed needle, gently poking the wool into the fabric until it becomes part of the blanket. This repetitive action calms the nervous system and brings comfort, whether practiced alone or in a community setting.

Over the years, our collaborative blanket story has been touched by many hands and travelled to various places, telling stories of the times, identity and culture. It has united people, empowering them as artists, storytellers, and activists. This blanket is a soft invitation to connect—a symbol of care and community.

Join us and be a part of this evolving story, where art meets healing and community.
